Operations

Basic operations:
  • Turn on the light at MAX output by pressing the BLACK button switch.
  • Turn on the light at LOWEST (programmable) output by pressing the WHITE button switch
  • To turn off the light anytime, press and release the BLACK button switch.
Advanced:
  • To program the LOWEST startup output, switch to the desired output level and continuously pressing and holding the button for three seconds until the side LED turns on.
  • (Flashlight w/ programmable feature) In rare occasion user may experience the absence of lowest output level from a brand new purchase. If this is case, set the programmable startup level once will initialize the memory setting and will take care of this issue once and for all.
  • For MAX output momentary on, press and hold the BLACK button switch for immediate output.
  • To switch between different brightness levels, press and release the WHITE button switch when the flashligh is on.
  • To enter hidden auxiliary levels, cycle through at least two cycle of regular output.
  • For instant MAX output - at any output level, press and hold the BLACK button switch. Release the button to return to previous level.
  • For instant Strobe output - at any output level (even) off), double press and hold the BLACK button switch. Release the button to return to previous level (or off).

Charging:

Warranty

Battery Safety Precaution

Ensure the battery has current discharge ability of 10A or higher. Always use proven EAGTAC batteries for best performance and reliability.

TX3G Pro and TX3G Pro Pro flashlights are designed to use either unprotected flat-top or button-top battery. Use only EAGTAC li-ion battery with compatiable length and diameter. Before using the battery, check and ensure the battery outer wrapping (the isolating plastic film that wraps around the metal housing of the battery) is complete. Broken battery wrapping may lead to short circuit and damage to the flashlight.

Lithium and Li-ion battery can explode or cause burns if disassembled, shorted, or exposed to high temperature. Do not mix new and used batteries. Do not mix batteries with different brand, capacity, voltage, or install batteries backwards.

NiMH rechargeable battery may release gas during discharge. If you experience an inflated switch boot or find high pressure being built inside the flashlight, switch off the flashlight immediately. Slowly loosen the tail-cap to reduce the internal pressure and replace all batteries.     Back to top

Warning for using and handling unprotected li-ion battery

The EAGTAC unprotected 26650 rechargeable li-ion battery is never designed or intended to be used inside different flashlight model (including EAGTAC and other brand) other than TX3G Pro and TX3G Pro Pro, e-cigarette, vaporizer, or any other electronical device. Doing so can be very dangerous and it is at your own risk

Never let the battery come into contact with any metal objects as it will short circuiting the battery and may cause fire or explosion. Do not put the battery in the pocket, purse, bag or elsewhere. Always use plastic battery case for transportation or storage and keep away from heat. Always Keep away from children or pets.

Li-ion battery is very sensitive to charging and discharging characteristics and may cause burn or explosion if misused or mishandled. Never discharge this li-ion battery under 2.7V and never charge it over 4.2V. Always discharge and charge the battery with compatible electrical current. Discard any over-discharged battery or any battery with broken outer wrap.

Always charge the battery inside EAGTAC intended flashlight model on a fire-proof surface. Do not modify the battery in any form.

Only use EAGTAC or EAGTAC autherticity verified li-ion battery in this flashlight. EAGTAC and its dealers will not be held responsible or liable for any injury or damage caused by any third party battery, any third party battery charger, or any improper usage or mishandle of its battery and battery charger.     Back to top

Flashlight Maintenance

Periodically clean the threads and o-rings with a lint free cloth and apply a thin coating of EAGTAC synthetic grease to the o-rings and threads. After prolonged exposure to moisture, the head and batteries should be removed, inspected, and dried. Do not touch or attempt to clean the reflector, as it will scratch the reflective coating permanently.     Back to top

  1. Includes batteries
  2. Battery with flat-top or protruded top can be used in this flashlight. Protection circuit is built into the flashlight so there is no need for one for the battery.
  3. Beam output diameter taken at one meter
  4. ANSI FL-1 Lumens is a measurement of light output standardized by American National Standards Institute for use with flashlights. This ANSI Lumen measurement is the total overall light output being emitted from the flashlight. This measurement is generally more accurate as it takes into consideration the loss from reflector/lens/bezel. EAGTAC’s ANSI Lumen output is measured using a calibrated integrated sphere three minutes after turning on the flashlight. For O.T.F. lumen, measurement is taken one minute after turning on the flashlight.
  5. After 60 seconds at maximum output level (100%), the active thermal management feature will be activated and continuously adjusts the maximum output level according to the flashlight internal tempearture. The adjustment output range is between 70%-100%. This feature maintains the flashlight surface temperature to be about 130°F (54 °C) for W1900 (higher surrounding temperaturemay result in higher flashlight temperature). It's normal for high power flashlight to run hot at MAX level. Reduce the output if the user finds the flashlight too warm to hold.
  6. Uses EAGTAC unprotected 26650 5000mAh li-ion rechargeable battery
  7. Maximum efficiency occurs when input voltage is very close to LED forward voltage.
