Inside the C5000 ST
Base on higher voltage platform than competitor's design, our C5000 ST circuit regulates the MT-G2 LED output until the very last drop of energy. Our highly efficient wide voltage buck current regulated circuit controls the precious amount of current that goes through the LED at all output levels. This results in constant brightness output regardless of LED variation, battery voltage, and temperature change. Our smart EMI management and quick soft-start design provide clean electricity to power the LED with enhanced service life.
We utilize low RDS(on) high power external mosfets, rugged & shielded power inductor, low ESR 50V X7R ceramic capacitors, and low resistance 2 oz copper PCB for maximum efficiency. This also lower required input voltage to current regulate the LED at maximum output when the battery voltage is near the LED forward voltage.
The microprocessor is programmed to provide handy and easy-to-use interface for users. When the flashlight is turned off, it shuts off all unnecessary components and waits for response to user command at very low standby current (uA).
Excellent runtime & efficiency
We use highly precise operating amplifier with very low offset voltage to control the output current. This allows SX25L3 to run for 350+ hours on its lowest brightness level and constant regulate all output levels without LED flicking.
At its highest brightness output, SX25L3 runs for 2.7 hours (XM-L2) / 1.5 hour (MT-G2) using three EAGTAC 18650 3400mAh batteries with energy saving feature enabled. The circuit is also designed to handle six 3V primary CR123A batteries with the same great efficiency.
