Inside the C3000 ST
This highly efficient synchronous buck current regulated circuit controls the precious amount of current that goes through the LED at all output levels. This results in constant brightness output regardless of LED variation, battery voltage, and temperature change. Our smart EMI management and quick soft-start design provide clean electricity to power the LED with enhanced service life.
Our synchronous buck converter is more technologically advanced and compact than competitor standard LED driver. Ours utilize low RDS(on) high power external mosfets, rugged & shielded power inductor, low ESR tantalum capacitors, and low resistance 2 oz copper PCB for maximum efficiency. This also lower required input voltage to current regulate the LED at maximum output when the battery voltage is near the LED forward voltage.
The microprocessor is programmed to provide handy and easy-to-use interface for users. When the flashlight is turned off, it shuts off all unnecessary components and waits for response to user command at very low standby current (uA).
Excellent runtime & efficiency
We use highly precise operating amplifier with very low offset voltage to control the output current. This allows GX25A3 to run for 100+ hours on its lowest brightness level and constant regulate all output levels without LED flicking.
At its highest brightness output, GX25A3 runs for 1.3 hour using two standard eneloop batteries with energy saving feature enabled. More runtime can be obtained when you use higher capacity batteries.
